Politics of the Seven Kingdoms: Part IX (Dorne)

Hey folks! After a long delay on my part, I’ve combined and edited together the three parts of my Politics of Dorne essay, which is now up on Tower of the Hand here. This marks the end of one of the longest non-chapter recap essay series I’ve ever done, but which I feel was ultimately a rewarding one. Next, I’ve got a couple one-off essays and then it’s on to a series on Dunk & Egg.

    I know this is an old post, but I’m curious about the divisions in the map of Dorne. Why are Lemonwood and Planky Town directly under Martell controll? Wasn’t House Dalt and the Orphans vassals like the other great Dornish houses? Thank you.
