And we’re back!

With this episode, Scott and I have come to the end of our Season 2 coverage, and indeed of our backlog of Game of Thrones materials. We should be beginning our coverage of Season 5 quite soon, but going forward we’ll have to find something new to talk about in the off-season.

    Great work,all caught up now!!
As i hadn’t read the novels at the time this episode aired my 1st thoughts was that dany is going to burn down the HOTU because i thought she was immune to fire.
In season 3 Stannis says to davos that he saw “a great battle in the snow” when he looked into the flames in this episode,is this the battle at the fist of the 1st men or maybe the battle for winterfell or even the battle for the dawn pt2??

PS.Maybe put a disclaimer in the S2 podcast section that the s2 podcasts kinda spoil S3 & S4.
Look forward to S5 podcasts 🙂

Hooray! Now Steve can get on with Kings chapters!

May I say how hysterical I thought Margaery was in the throne room? How could you not love her after that?

The burning of Winterfell was mishandled a bit but frankly I adored Theon’s scenes too much to really mind. His St. Crispins speech was so brilliantly conceived and the reaction summed up the Iron Born completely…and Theon with Luwin….just heart breaking. God Alfie deserved an Emmy.

    • Son of Fire says:

My favourite part was “and whoever kills that horn blowing c#*t will stand in bronze on the shore’s of Pike”.
I was ready to charge into battle from my sofa 🙂
