We’re back with another recap of HBO’s Game of Thrones, where Patrick Donahoe of Entertained Organizer and I discuss Viking military strategy, which pop culture figure Rattleshirt looks like, my dissatisfaction with the Jon Snow/Quorin Halfhand plot line, Ned’s paternalism as the least bad political theory in Westeros, Jaime’s internal programming and who could beat him in a fight (Batman, obviously), the Lannisters’ tricky military situation, Tyrion and Bronn as the best odd couple ever, the Siege of Clonmel; we geek out over Maisie Williams a bit, I get annoyed with what they’re doing with Jeyne Westerling’s backstory, and some other good stuff.
